Royal Horticultural Society Lecture

Every two years WHS hosts the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society regional lecture. These are sell out events with a great deal of local WHS promotion including a wide area poster campaign, a BBC Radio Suffok interview with the speaker and local newspaper and website promotion. We also use "What's On" facilities to try and reach as many people as possible within our area. In addition to the WHS publicity and promotion activities the RHS advertise this event in their monthly magazine "The Garden" and send emails to RHS members who live in the surrounding area.

In April 2009 we were fortunate to have Pippa Greenwood as our speaker, Pippa's talk was entitled "Great Veg Growing" which is a subject currently attracting a great deal of interest from both the public and the media.
Previous speakers have included Joe Swift, Bunny Guinness, Nigel Colbourne and Roy Lancaster.
